Van - yes - unity is the way. People looking after people. I remember being wowed by 911 and how so many people stepped in to take care of strangers. What is that going to take on a more universal level? How do we realize that we’re killing ourselves when we kill others? ❤️
Beautiful song. Music heals but it takes political will and moral courage to stop inflicting new wounds of war. I can only speak for US policy since I am an involved citizen and activist voter. Our government is currently devoid of morality and cannot be believed as their actions belie their purported values. As I Iisten to the song, dozens, hundreds, thousands of people are dying around the world from US made armaments. We have become the enabler of horror and evil committed by others.
There is a minority wanting unity, but the majority (just like in our country) just go along with the corrupt Netanyahu gov't. At THIS POINT, I can't envision unity. I support the Jews having a State, after centuries of persecution..... but the way it was done, by fiat of bigger Western countries, like the United States and Britain, stealing Palestinian land, colonized by Britain, has caused the DEEP RESENTMENT of the Palestinians who have also lived in these lands forever. Everyone needs to read a deep history of the region. And for years, the settler Israelis have been stealing land from the Palestinians, with full complicity of the Israeli gov't ..... SO if a deep resentment has built up, it's totally understandable. Americans would feel the same way, if done by Canada or Mexico. Very complex situation, fraught with deep passion over the past. I "hope" for peace, but my god, not now.... after 4200 Palestinians killed in Gaza. People do not forget the innocents, the children of every war, never having the opportunity of adulthood. The "two-state" solution has been mouthed by the West for decades, but pushed down the path, because of our loyalty to Israel. This will not happen soon. I'm an optimistic person, but speaking the truth here -- sorry to be such a downer in this conversation.
This song is my anthem to life and hope. We are all brothers and sisters, and I’m ashamed for each moment that I doubt that. We are one, aren’t we? The more pain, the more digging we have to do to unleash the hope. One day… One day.
Wow! That made me cry (good tears though) Hope has been hard to find these days. I'm beginning to see glimmers though. This is one. It feels good. Thank you.

Thank you for this. It seems light years away now but maybe “One Day”
Maybe I’m not watching correctly - are there Muslims singing in the video? I think I saw one?
