If you’re looking for some inspiration today, check out this video of Jews and Muslims singing together in Haifa, Israel. In the clip, 3,000 people gather to sing in unison, “One day, this all will change.” Their hope is that ‘One Day’ is just over the horizon.
In the three years since this video was created, so much damage has been done on all sides—with no end in sight.
Nobody with a heart wants this. The people singing in this video believe peace is possible. Without that belief, we’re lost.
We do not have to live divided.
I refuse to believe that we are more different than we are the same. We can fix this. It just takes love and courage.
Listening to their voices and song of unity gives me the courage to find and feel hope. Let me know if you feel it, too.
Let’s stay together.

Van - yes - unity is the way. People looking after people. I remember being wowed by 911 and how so many people stepped in to take care of strangers. What is that going to take on a more universal level? How do we realize that we’re killing ourselves when we kill others? ❤️
Beautiful song. Music heals but it takes political will and moral courage to stop inflicting new wounds of war. I can only speak for US policy since I am an involved citizen and activist voter. Our government is currently devoid of morality and cannot be believed as their actions belie their purported values. As I Iisten to the song, dozens, hundreds, thousands of people are dying around the world from US made armaments. We have become the enabler of horror and evil committed by others.
